Unlike ladies, the guys usually own a rather simpler closet (Exceptions made to the metros). As guys, you should know what are the essential things you should own in order to help you fit in to every occasions.
Thus, here is our take on the 4 Most Essential Pants A Guy Should Have In His Closet.
1. Denim Jeans
This is the superhero, the jack of all traits, and the pride of every living guys on this earth. We can dress up or dress down with the classic blue jeans. It can be either straight cut, skinny, slim fit, or carrot cut. It is all depending on your taste and preferences.
A good pair of denim jeans is actually a good investment. My father gave me more then ten pairs of his Lee jeans. Unfortunately, it does not fit me the way I like it, remember I said it's a good investment? I change all of the pre love to money. (Ka Ching!)
2. Dress Pants
Dress pants or we Malaysians know it as the slack, comes in many variations; pleated font, flat front, slim cut, skinny, and regular fit. These jargon can be overwhelming to many of guys out there. So I am here to tell you guys to chill bro.
What is the important aspect when choosing the right dress pants is the emphasize on its cutting and how it made you feel when you're wearing it. Pleated or flat front, its just accessories.
A skinny dress pants is a more modern take to this old trousers. It will look good on a skinny guys but still I don't recommend this type to anyone especially to the much plump guys.
Slim Cut is the best, most ideal cut for a dress pants in my humble opinion (I recon you to take my humble opinion, you better!). It is not too tight nor too loose, it allows you to move freely but at the same time it firmly holds your buttock and uplift it to a - just right - angle.
Regular fit is the cut where I believe would look good on a tall guys compared to the much petite guys. A regular fit dress pants usually seems loosen in compared to the slim cut, and it normally come with pleated front.
3. Khakis
Many of us, (including myself) are not aware what differentiate between dress pants and khakis. Well boys and girls, let me enlighten you (after much readings of course). Khakis is mainly 100% cotton and the original colour of it is beige (the yellowish kinda light brownish). Thank you to the advancement of technology and our fashion forward industry men, khakis now comes is variety of colour and the tailoring made it suitable for office use. It can be a casual look and also can be dress up professionally with the right mix.
A much fitted khakis can be very appealing to the eyes of beer-holder (with beers, everything looks nice and seducing). Khakis also comes in pleated front and flat front, to suits every guys' preferences.
This can be a good change for jeans because you can't wear jeans everyday, or can you?

4. Sweatpants
Last but not least, the sweatpants. I know I put sweatpants in the essential list pants to own, but most Malaysian guys nowadays are using on this type of pants - way too much! You wore it to dinner, to the gym (which fit it purpose), to the late night movie date, to the mall, to be out and about, to everywhere. To made thing worse, you think it is okay to do so.
Boys, everything was invented for reasons. Sweatpants are invented for the sportsmen or much casual stroll in the park. It is essential because, not everyone can pull a shorts in public. That is why I would recons the guys to wear sweatpants for all those purposes, in order to cover up your skinny - chicken legs. (yes, I'm being mean)
